Monthly safety drills and procedures
During the first three months of school, our class will participate in monthly fire drills and tornado drills. We take time before each drill to walk students through safety procedures calmly and clearly so they feel prepared, safe, and confident in our school building.
Church etiquette and classroom rules
As 2nd graders at our Catholic school, our students will regularly practice proper church etiquette and reverent behavior for school masses. In addition, we will frequently review our core classroom rules and behavioral expectations throughout these opening months to ensure a respectful, supportive learning environment.
Parent actions and communication
If any forms, permission slips, or items require your signature, an alert will be posted here and sent via backpack mail. For urgent day-of matters, such as weather alerts or immediate notices during school hours, families will be notified promptly via ClassDojo.
